Kakadu Blue, which operates under its parent company Australian Blue Cypress Pty Ltd, includes the company's named essential oil in its skincare, health, and beauty range.
In addition, Kakadu Blue upcycles its waste products into cheese boards, jewellery, incense sticks, woodchips for campfires, and garden mulch. The tried and tested compounds Camphene, Terpineol, Humulene, Guaiol, Sesquiterpenes, and Guaiazulene present in Australian Blue Cypress Oil are active ingredients in the Kakadu Blue catalogue and have been tested by the Collins family.
The Journey
Becoming Kakadu Blue has been much more complicated than the usual cosmetic brand. It took almost two decades from the discovery of Australian Blue Cypress before the Collins family was in a position to embark on their journey with Kakadu Blue. Most of this time was consumed by legal battles in the state and federal courts of Australia, which should have never occurred.
